Is there anyone else besides me that's excited to see snow? It's beginning to feel more like Christmas! I can't wait until I'm done with finals (1 more this Thursday!) then I'm officially free for one whole month!

Before the MySpace frenzy.
Before the Internet & text messaging.
Before Sidekicks & iPods.
Before MIKE JONESSS
Before PlayStation2 or X-BOX.
Before the 5 hours of homework you put off every night.
When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs.
When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing.
When we recorded stuff on VCRs & paid $3.50 for a movie.
When we called the radio station to request songs to hear off our walkmans.
Way back.
Tag.
Hide-n-Go Seek at dusk.
Red Light, Green Light.
Heads Up 7 Up.
Playing Kickball & Dodgeball until your porch light came on.
Hopskotch.
Slip-n-Slides.
Tree Houses.
Mother May I?
Red Rover.
Four Square.
Hula Hoops.
The annoying Nano Pets & Furbies.
Playing Street Hockey with the neighborhood friends.
Running through the sprinklers.
Happy Meals where you chose a Barbie or a Hot Wheels car.
Getting the privelage to sit in the front seat of the car.
Wait.
Watching Saturday Morning Cartoons in your PJ's still wrapped up in your Gardield comforter.
Hey Arnold, Doug, Rugrats.
The original Power Rangers
Or what about:
The Secret Life of Alex Mac.
Ren & Stimpy.
Double Dare.
Rocko's Modern Life.
AAAHH!! REAL MONSTERS.
Wild & Crazy Kids.
Clarissa Explains it All.
Are You Afraid of the Dark?
The original 'All That' cast members.
Kenan & Kel.
Who could forger Snick? & Nick @ Nite with Bewitched, I Dream of Jenie, The Facts of Life & I Love Lucy.
Where everyone wanted to be in love after watching The Wonder Years.
Not finished yet.
Kool-Aid was the drink of choice.
Wearing your new shoes on the first day of school.
Class field trips.
When Christmas was the most exciting time of year.
When $5 seemed like a million, & another dollar a miracle.
When you begged to go to McDonalds for dinner everyday.
When Toys R Us overuled the mall.
Go back to the time when
Decisions were made by going 'eeny-meeny-miney-moe'.
Mistakes were corrected by simply exclaiming 'do over!'
'Race issue' ment arguing about who ran the fastest.
Money issues were handled by whoever was banker in 'Monopoly'.
It wasn't odd to have two or three 'best' friends.
Being old referred to anyone over 20.
A chance to skate as a couple at the local roller rink was like winning the lottery.
The worst thing you could catch from the opposite sex was cooties.
Nobody was prettier than Mom.
Nobody was cooler or stronger than Dad.
Scrapes & bruises were kissed & made better.
It was a big deal to finally be tall enought to ride the 'big people' rides at the fair.
When playing Nintendo was the hardest thing ever.
When Ninja Turtles ruled the world. (THEY STILL DO)
If you can remember most or all of these
than you have lived in the 90's!

In the four years of being together, we've never really done anything for Halloween. So this year, in the spirit of Halloween, we're co-hosting a small party with a couple that we know. Beau's dressing up as a "special ops" military person and I wanted to match him so I got a pin up military costume.

Instead of studying like I should be, I'm looking at travel sites and dreaming about our next vacation. We're gonna save up and go on a cruise next summer (hopefully with family).
Anyway, I was looking at different destinations and remembered that this couple we know went on an Alaskan cruise this summer and loved it. So I was looking it up to find out more and decided it looks amazing. Here are some pictures I found:

How great would that be to see that in person? Especially go climbing up those glaciers or flying in a helicopter over the mountains? Heck, I'd love to just stay on the ship the whole time and stuff my face with yummy cruise food. I'll be counting the days.

School will be the death of me. Literally. I think I'm dying.
My life revolves around work and school. The only day I have off is Sunday and I don't even really have that off, I spend it doing homework. I admire the people who make it through school, I've realized that it is quite a feat.
I feel bad for my husband who has to sit around with a boring wife. I'm glad he has his car obsession to take his mind off of the fact that we've still got a long way to go until I'm done.
That is my venting for now.

This is our second attempt at the blogging world. I had to delete our old one to get rid of the nagging feeling that I should update more often. Second time's the charm!
